Shuting (Irene) Yang focuses primarily on estate planning. Irene drafts wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents such as healthcare directives and powers
of attorney, helping clients identify the value of their estates, and identifying
their specific property distribution wishes. Irene also handles probate matters, including the appointment of personal representatives in probate court, estate administration, payments to creditors, and distributions to beneficiaries. Irene’s legal experience also includes assisting individuals in obtaining visas and gaining U.S. citizenship, defending the rights of immigrants, navigating the issues of illegal immigration, and representing businesses in understanding immigration issues, including permanent residency and visa services.
Irene received her J.D. from Cornell Law School. She earned her B.S. from the University of Washington. She is a member of the Georgia, Missouri, and Kansas Bars. She is fluent in Mandarin.
